Girls Night Out

July 2nd, 2009 — 7:23am

Ashley’s Bride Guide is probably the best thing to happen to Nashville Brides since sliced wedding cake.  Ashley loves weddings and doing anything she can to help your day be everything you dreamed of and more.  So it’s really no surprise that Ashley and Sarah Elizabeth (a blogging Nashville bride) have gotten together and cooked up a girl’s night out for the engaged ladies of Nashville.

I am not engaged, but can I just say that I wish I were so that I could hang out?  Do you brides to be realize how much fun you are? Especially in a group?  I recently held my first Bound Together workshop and had 7 couples in attendance.  Everything went really well, but the best part was watching the 7 brides to be talk about their wedding plans.  An insta-bond seems to form wherever two or more brides are gathered.

Ashley also pointed out that there will be lots of blogging brides in attendance, so if you’ve thought about joining in on the blogging fun go check it out and meet ladies already doing it.  I think blogging is a wonderful way to create a record of everything you’re going through so that the memories of this truly precious time last forever.

So go and sign up here.  You will NOT regret it.

Bound Together: 10 Day Countdown

June 17th, 2009 — 1:34am

It’s 10 days until Nashville Marriage Studio’s FIRST Premarital Education Workshop. I’m not sure if I can contain my excitement.

In honor of the premiere of Bound Together, I am counting down the days Dave Letterman style one day at a time…

10 Reasons You Really Want To Be At Bound Together:

10 – Bound Together will save you money. And not just because you get a $60 discount on your TN marriage license. No, I’m talking bigger picture, People. Getting premarital education decreases the likelihood of getting a divorce by 30%.

That means you’re 30% less likely to file for divorce (which is expensive).

You’re 30% less likely to hate your life because your marriage sucks and happy people make more money.

You’re also 30% less likely to ever have to do any of this wedding stuff over again. Ok, doing the wedding stuff over again would be kind of fun. How about, you’re 30& less likely to have to pay for any of this wedding stuff all over again? Much better.

Bound Together. It’s like money in your pocket.
